I suppose that's a peave for many, not so much for me, as I guess I am guilty of "thread drift" as much or more than most. Of course, I read every thread, every day, especially if it seems to pop to the top.

There are pros and cons to thread drift. Some say this is a campfire and conversations ebb and flow, pick up whatever piece you want. Others say it's a method of transmitting information. Both are true. Everybody has an opinion of this, all are valid.

Perhaps until the forum becomes more popular, avoiding thread drift is a good thing. After that, it becomes inevitable. It's the internet. What do others think?

I'm up for meeting up sometime. I'd like to keep the costs down as much as possible. I don't exactly have a bank roll in my pocket by any means.
I'm definitely planning on going, but my dates may not end up flexible. But I'm hoping for the best.

As soon as we get all the bugs worked out, we'll take this out of the "Welcome" message:

The new site is still a work in progress so bear with us. If you run into anything giving you trouble let us know. We have dedicated a section of the Forum for this purpose and it can be found HERE.

And replace it with a highlight to the getting started page (and hopefully by then a "Join MMI" link).
