After running last night and abusing my bare cheeks in the cold wind, I decided to look for a bit of scientific information to help me determine when coverage is needed to prevent frostnip/frostbite. Here is a link to the Environment Canada web site where they did a very scientific study on when your skin will freeze, something very appropriate for mountaineers to know. Keep in mind that frostbite at altitude is more likely because of reduced oxygen.

been climbing for years and been off for a bit --i have gathered a film crew to make a documentary called

CLIMBING FOR THE KIDS

its to raise money for ST. JUDE RESEARCH HOSPITAL
this is taking a bit to do, but we are looking for sponsors and two more climbers

the goal is to raise a dollar for every vertical foot we climb.

I have a set barely used. What signs they show of wear have been from riding in a pack. No more than a handful of placements, none ever weighted that I can remember. They have been well cared for by my brother and I. Good start to a trad rack. I can throw in a couple 'biners for racking to sweeten the deal. I have an identical set that I'm keeping. They're good cams, the best you can find for the price.

Asking $185 for the set.
